Alan Matsumoto
After a 19 year career as a structural engineer in Vancouver, BC, Alan Matsumoto opted for his passion, sand sculpture. He has held a sandsculpting Guiness World Record and and six Sand Sculpting World Championship titles.
Alan has performed across the country and around the world and has performed include Luliang and Sanya, China; Perth and Melbourne, Australia; Venice, Italy; South Africa, Aruba, and Canada. His pieces have appeared in National Geographic and twice on the "Today Show".
Alan also holds two Britsh Columbia snow sculpting championship titles.
